  • This image was taken with the Meade LPI camera using a Baader film and orange filter on July 19. This was classified as Sunspot 652.
  • This image was also on July 19 using a Nikon 950 Digial camera, 18mm Wide Angle adapter with Baader film and 2x barlow through a a LX-90 Telescope.

  • The development of sunspot 0652 over the last few days has been spectacular. The shot was done using the LPI with an FR-237 through an ETX-90.

  • The shot was also done using the LPI with an FR-237 through an ETX-90 with the addition of a 2x Barlow.
  • This animation od Sun Spot 0652 was created from images captured July 19 - 26. Each of the individual frames can be viewed above. Sun spot 0652 went out of my view on July 29th.
  • First light with the Coronado SolarMax 40. Images were captured with the Meade LPI in Seattle on Sept. 20, 2004
