N7FAN - Personal Information and stuff

Hi, my name is David and I have been a Amateur Radio operator since 1983. I'm married to a wonderful lady and have two incredibly beautiful sons.

I live in Maricopa, Arizona. I have been involved in most phases of Amateur Radio at one time or another. I have played with Moonbounce, SSTV and ATV, HF/VHF/UHF Packet, Public Service, CW and SSB. Currently I am quasi-active on 2-meters and 70-centimeters. I have managed to get most of my handheld radios back on the air. I now have a HT presence on 2m, 220MHz & 440MHz. Due to HOA antenna restrictions, I can't put any HF gear on the air. Finances preclude using "stealth" antennas.

My real job takes up a lot of my time, but I try and stay active on VHF/UHF by participating in as many special events around the Phoenix area as I can.
